I’m so excited to let you know that a searchable database of political prisoners in Vietnam is now published online! This was the latest initiative of The 88 Project, a non-profit organisation for human rights, which I’m proudly a part of. My two dear friends and colleagues, Huong and Kaylee, build an amazing website called vietnamprisoners.info

If you have ever wondered how many political prisoners are there in Vietnam right now, how many of them are women, how many of them were arrested last year, the searchable Political Prisoner Database is for you! You can search by various fields, including gender, religion, and type of activism, and we have detailed profiles for many prisoners.

The website was intended to support advocacy and assistance efforts for political prisoners and their families. Check it out!
