The Campaign Is Now On!

And here it is! Together with my charity, The 88 Project , we have just launched a crowdfunding campaign to raise money for an interview series about female activists in Vietnam.

As mentioned in my other post, this year I’ve been running charity races to raise awareness about the cause. In the next few months I’ll sharing more updates about the campaigns and my runs.

Run For Vietnamese Activists

This year I’ll be running 5 long-distance races to raise awareness about female prisoners and activists in Vietnam. Soon, together with The 88 Project, we will launch a crowd-funding campaign to raise money for the cause. Over the coming months I’ll be sharing more updates on my website and social media.

Currently, I’m preparing for the following runs:

Transgrancanaria – Canary Islands – 24th February – 30 km
Sheffield Half – United Kingdom – 8th March – Half Marathon
Pitztal – Austria – 4th August – 26 km
North York Moors – United Kingdom – 29th September – Half Marathon
Suffolk – United Kingdom – 20th October – Marathon

As a woman I believe it’s important to show solidarity with courageous and determined ladies who fight for their basic human rights. I hope that my runs and the awareness campaign will help their voices to be heard.

Thanks in advance for the support!

My two dear friends and colleagues, Huong and Kaylee, build an amazing website called

If you have ever wondered how many political prisoners are there in Vietnam right now, how many of them are women, how many of them were arrested last year, the searchable Political Prisoner Database is for you! You can search by various fields, including gender, religion, and type of activism, and we have detailed profiles for many prisoners.

The website was intended to support advocacy and assistance efforts for political prisoners and their families. Check it out!
